Using the included remote control and 3ft cable, with a wide range of tilting and panning options (such as panning up to 340 degrees), you’ll be able to get as creative with your camerawork as you’d like. Additionally, the stable and automatic speeds allow for pans and tilts that match the tone you’d like to set. Often mounted to a camera crane, the MPH1 Motorized Pan and Tilt Head couples the swooping movements of the crane with the technical moves that the panhead offers.

Unit features choice of either Auto Pan Mode or Remote Control. The Auto Pan mode allows continuous horizontal panning motion of +/- 45Y, +/- 90Y, or =/- 340Y set by selector switch. Remote operation is by a detachable remote control unit, included, with a 3 foot cord.The remote unit has a four way direction control button to activate right/left pan motion up to 340 degrees each way, as well as up/down tilt motion to +/- 15Y maximum. A Variable Speed control on the remote allows continuous speed adjustment for horizontal panning and vertical tilt movements. Power is provided by 4 AA batteries, not included. The unit weighs 28 oz. The Pan Head accepts cameras with a maximum weight of 6 lbs (2.7 kg). MPH-1 head weighs only 28 oz. Maximum vertical speed is 2.4° per second. Maximum horizontal speed is 8° per second.
